This is the first of our monthly newsletters designed to keep website members abreast of all news pertaining to planned and upcoming activities related to the website and to furthering knowledge and understanding of the soul. Our first goal is to plan for sites for future lectures, workshops and seminars. This newsletter enlists your help in planning upcoming lectures, workshops and seminars around the country and around the world. CREATIVITY AND THE SOUL
Perhaps many people may wonder about the value of knowledge of the soul to our everyday existence. No one can question the value of creativity in our everyday existence. We can only understand the value and relationship of sex to the soul if we understand the true nature creativity.
Creativity is both much desired and much maligned. In fact, it can be both in the very same situation. For example, a business that trains salesmen may desire to teach salesmen how to sell a product. While the perspective salesman may hear the trainer say, "This works and every word is important", the truth is that no sales presentation is even close too foolproof, and no elements of sale training can cover all the possible problems. So, on the one hand, the sales trainer will encourage the new salesman to be creative and, on the other hand, he may say, "Don't change a thing!" If businesses could give salesmen an approach to selling and encourage them to follow it rather than forcing them to do so, perhaps the salesman could be more successful. For example, it is common for sales training courses to say, "Use the clients name a lot! Use it in a familiar manner!" So, for example, if the perspective customer is John Doe, the salesman is to say, "John" instead of "Mr. Doe", and he is to say it over and over again.
Now, to be honest, I'm certain that this name repetition has an effect, but not the one people expect. For example, if you pay attention to your conversations with friends and relatives, you'll find that you seldom use their name when you speak to them. So, when a customer hears his or her name repeated over and over again, his or her subconscious says, "This is a salesman! That's what they do!" So, the salesman who is creative enough to put up with that dogma in class and just ignore it after training is over will probably do significantly better than the person who accepts that customers like to hear they name over and over and over!
Creativity is a strange thing, and difficult to teach! In fact, you don't teach creativity. You teach people how to stimulate creativity. The inspiration for the creative action or idea just pops up after creativity is stimulated! Sexual is the creative process (sex is the creative process, love is the creative force), we can learn a lot about creativity and stimulating creativity by looking at sexual .
